This bible quote stood out to me as when it featured on the 'verse of the day' on my Bible app yesterday.

Today I was editing a video of a past retreat where Kenneth Clifford was relaying a message of the same essence that served as a very good reminder for me. That this world will never satisfy us, it simply will never be good enough for us no matter how much we try to manipulate the circumstances to suit us. It will still not make us happy simply because it is not our home.

We will be content with nothing less than Heaven because that is what we truly deserve. While it may seem like a lofty goal, the Holy Spirt has already accomplished it! He waits not on our readiness. He is ready now!

I find myself forgetting this over and over and trying to do the Holy Spirit's job, trying to figure out my awakening, when it is already done.

My prayer is to allow myself to be humbled and realize that I really have no idea what I am doing on this journey, nor am I asked to! I am asked to lean not on my own understanding and ask for the answers to be given to me! How simple when I do not get in the way!
